I started making a few wooden spoons a few years ago, and in that process of learning the basic techniques I came across leather work and some interesting projects for beginners.

So i was very happy to meet Franz, a local leather worker who makes all sorts of products in his little shop in Ingolstadt

I asked him if i could make a couple of leather pouches in his workshop for the family.

Will and I spent a wonderful hour tracing, marking, cutting, punching and threading.
